"We Sound Together. Mapping women in music in Asturias"

Are you passionate about music and want to help build a more egalitarian landscape in our region? The Xixón Fem Music project invites us to participate in a fundamental initiative to make visible and recognize the role of women in the Asturian music scene.

This study, which is taking place from April 17, 2026 to June 30, 2026, seeks to map the reality of artists and industry professionals in Gijón/Xixón and Asturias. The final results will be shared through the municipal website and will be part of a future traveling exhibition.

How can you collaborate? 🎶

The organization, led by the FMCE and UP (Department of Cultural Innovation), needs to know your perspective for this study. You can contribute your grain of sand in the following ways:

• Participate in the anonymous survey: If you are an artist (professional or amateur), teacher, or work in the music industry, you can share your opinion through the Survey Access.
• Spread the word about the initiative: Help us reach more people by sharing the survey link on your social media.
• Put up the poster: You can download and print the Survey Poster to place it in a visible location.
