A symphonic spring journey

The March program of the Banda Sinfónica de Gijón (BSG) arrives full of colors, nuances, and contrasts, so characteristic of this spring season. Under the direction of Iván Arboleya, the band invites us to discover and feel the different registers of spring through the eyes of composers such as Bernstein, Barber, or Gorb.

Program highlights

• Bloom by S. Yagisawa: inspired by the delicate and unique blooming of an orchid.
• A. Copland: a journey through the immense and serene Appalachian mountain range.
