Event Description
CONTINGENT SCENE Six interpreters share on stage six life stories that revolve around the same theme: youth suicide, the main cause of death among young people and adolescents in Spain.
From testimonies collected over two years through interviews throughout Asturias, Contingent Scene proposes stopping our vertiginous pace of life for a moment and opening a common space to look – without circumlocutions or veils – at what is happening to us as a society.
Interdisciplinary documentary theatre piece, composed of nine scenes and an epilogue, created using the innovative technique of Headphone Verbatim, still incipient in Spanish theatre.
