Project 11x12. Registration open for the 2025-2026 academic year

Project Description

The 11x12 program is a family reconciliation initiative that offers childcare in schools in Gijón. The service includes supervision of free play, support with schoolwork, and a snack catering service.

Operation during the academic year

• Schedule: From the end of the lunch service until 18:30 (except for September and June, when it ends at 18:00).
• Modality: The service can be used on a monthly basis or for individual days.
• Registration: This is done by appointment at the 16 schools participating in the project.

Non-school periods and holidays

The program also offers:

• Early arrival: With breakfast from 07:30.
• Urban camps: Activities and workshops during Christmas, Easter, and Summer (from 09:00 to 14:00).
• Lunch service: From 14:00 to 16:00.

Payment information

Payment is primarily made via direct debit. There is 100% financial aid available for beneficiaries of the full lunch scholarship granted by the Fundación Municipal de Servicios Sociales.
