José Manuel Vigil García, “Malcorne”, presents his memoir book, “Malcorne, el balón y la vida”, at the Teatro Auditorio de La Pola. The event will be introduced by Miguel Sánchez Rodríguez.
Vigil is a deeply beloved figure in Asturian football, with a career spanning over six decades. Through his memories, the book reviews the evolution of football in Asturias (players, coaches, clubs, and fields that marked an era) and offers a glimpse into the social and daily life of the concejo de Siero throughout the 20th century: a close-up chronicle full of anecdotes about a lifetime tied to the ball and to Siero.
