Modern Asturian Dance
Pandereteros d’Anguaño emerged in 2022 with the aim of making modern music for dancing in the traditional style, in an attempt to continue making Asturian music for free and wild dance, but using their own melodies and lyrics, with themes ranging from social criticism to other folk themes.
In their repertoire, we can find jotas, muñeires, llixeres, pasodobles, sones d’arriba or polkas, which respect the traditional structures for free dance, as well as covering styles from a large part of Asturian geography.
