OCEANMAN Gijón

Gijón is preparing to become the open water capital of northern Spain by joining the prestigious international OCEANMAN circuit. It is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a community united by a passion for the sea, sports, and the spirit of personal improvement. 🌊

The event will be held on September 5 and 6, 2026. The 5K race will be part of the XIII Gijón Swimming Crossing Circuit 2026 and will be the 18th stage of the 2026 RFEN Open Water Spanish Cup.

Registration and participation 🏊

Registration will be open through the Oceanman Gijón website from November 20, 2025, until September 2 at 24:00. Please note that the cost follows the official Oceanman price (dynamic pricing) and that no registrations will be accepted on the day of the race.

Anyone who turns 14 during the year 2026 (born in 2012) can participate. If you are a minor, remember that it is mandatory to present an authorization from your legal representative, which must be filled out and sent during the online registration process.

A challenge for all levels

The circuit is designed so that no one is left out, offering routes adapted to each profile:

• 1.5-kilometer races for those starting in the discipline.
• 10-kilometer crossings for experienced swimmers.
• Relay and group races to foster team spirit and camaraderie. 🏅
