Synopsis
Matadero is a play awarded the Premio internacional ACoTaciOneS en la caja negra 2024 (Fundación SGAE, Red Escénica), written by the Asturian playwright Diego Lombardía.
The plot presents a bloody critique of labor exploitation, corruption, and impunity, centered on human misery and the helplessness of a migrant. The story follows Emilio and his company, where a workplace accident involving a worker in an irregular situation triggers a race against time and the consequences of his actions.
