La Nocturna de Gijón is a popular race that runs along a 10-kilometer entirely urban circuit through the city streets. The event starts at the velodrome of the Complejo Deportivo Las Mestas and finishes at the Antigua Pescadería Municipal, next to the Plaza Mayor.

- Start: Velódromo del Complejo Deportivo Las Mestas.
- Finish: Antigua Pescadería Municipal.
- Maximum time: 1 hour and 20 minutes.
- Cut-off time: 38 minutes at kilometer 5.
Registration
Registration is done through the official race website or the sports website of the Ayuntamiento de Gijón/Xixón. The participant limit is 1,250 people.
- Until August 31: 12 euros.
- From September 1 to 8: 20 euros.
Those who register before September 5 will be able to secure their selected t-shirt size.
