Still Lifes and XVII Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism

Thursday, June 11, 2026 - Sunday, September 27, 2026
About the event

The Dome of the Centro Niemeyer hosts this ambitious exhibition that combines art and architecture to reflect on the future of the planet. The Naturalezas Vivas exhibition, curated by María Toral, explores the notion of landscape through more than a hundred works by artists such as Joaquín Sorolla, Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró, Miquel Barceló and Sebastião Salgado, among others.

In parallel, the XVII Bienal Española de Arquitectura y Urbanismo (BEAU), titled Flujos Comunes, occupies the first floor. This proposal analyzes how the flows of energy, materials, and people shape our shared territory, presenting architecture as a tool for social and environmental transformation.
