The Centro Niemeyer presents Naturalezas Vivas, an ambitious exhibition curated by María Toral that invites reflection on the future of the planet through the evolution of landscape in art history. Within the framework of the 1st edition of the Bienal Climática, this exhibition brings together more than 120 works by over 60 artists, with pieces from such prestigious institutions as the Museo del Prado, the Museo Reina Sofía, and the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza.
Exhibition content
The exhibition is structured into three main sections: El origen, La mano del hombre, and El retorno y la reconciliación. Through them, the landscape is explored not only as a physical territory, but as a cultural and emotional construction. The exhibition shares space with the XVII Bienal Española de Arquitectura y Urbanismo (BEAU), creating a transversal dialogue on sustainability and territory.
