Xosefa Xovellanos tours the Mercáu to share details about her life and work, in addition to highlighting the work of other Asturian female writers. This cultural day combines literature, tradition, and children’s activities to bring the author’s figure closer to all audiences. 📚
Activity program
The event features a varied agenda that takes place throughout the day:
- Visit from Xosefa Xovellanos: at 12:30 p.m., with a tour through the Mercáu.
- Poetry recital by Mercedes Ruisánchez: at 1:00 p.m.
- Workshops and entertainment: from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., designed for the little ones to discover Xosefa Xovellanos and other female writers.
- Storytelling with Sergio Buelga: on October 11 at 6:00 p.m.
