Tradition and flavor in the heart of Asturias
The market in Grau/Grado is the oldest in Asturias and its origin dates back to the Middle Ages, when King Alfonso X the Wise granted the Carta Puebla to the town. This weekly market, which was originally held on Wednesdays, evolved in the Modern Age to also include Sundays, taking advantage of its strategic location on the Camín Real de la Mesa and the Camino de Santiago.
