Malaika, the little princess of an elephant herd, embarks on a long journey on the back of her father, Komba, in search of water holes. Throughout this journey, the protagonist faces difficult trials and discovers that memory is the fundamental key to the survival of her species.
This puppet show is a creation of La Sonrisa del Lagarto, a Spanish-Brazilian theater company founded in 2001 by actresses, directors, and playwrights Ave Hernández and Marli Santana, who have an extensive career in the world of performing arts.
