Llan de Cubel is an Asturian folk music group that works on Asturian musical tradition, giving it a new sound. To do this, it resorts to the material collected in the archives of Asturian ethnographic research groups, as well as a complementary fieldwork by members of the group itself, without forgetting the most popular themes known by all Asturians.
Since its beginnings in 1984, Llan de Cubel has actively participated in the process of revitalizing Asturian traditional culture, contributing equally to the dissemination of the same, especially in music and language. Today it is perhaps the most consolidated formation within the indigenous folk movement, being an important reference for new generations.
