The Grupu de baille San Felix de Candás presents Llamando a conceyu, a proposal that fuses traditional music and dance with street theater to reflect on the history and reality of open councils. This performance adapts its narrative to each location, focusing its gaze on this occasion on the culture and history of Xixón.
The piece features the original idea by Xurde Fernández, music by Javier Tejedor, and the performance of Raquel Prendes. Through this staging, the group seeks to renew the connection between music and dance, using movement and sounds to give voice to people’s dreams and memories.
