Within the framework of POEX 2026, a poetry reading and conversation with the author Miguel Casado will be presented, focusing on his work Estos nuevos tópicos (Tusquets, 2025). The event will feature the participation of Vicente Duque.

About the author

Miguel Casado (Valladolid, 1954) is a prominent poet, essayist, and translator. His extensive career includes fundamental titles such as La condición de pasajero, Inventario (Hiperión Prize 1987), and Deseo de realidad (2023), which collects his poetry since 1986. His critical and essayistic work encompasses volumes such as La poesía como pensamiento and La ciudad de los nómadas. He has translated authors such as Paul Verlaine, Arthur Rimbaud, and Francis Ponge, and has been part of the editorial board of important literary magazines.
