About Fernando Beltrán

Fernando Beltrán (Oviedo, 1956) is a prominent poet and writer, founder of the creative studio El Nombre de las Cosas. Winner of the Premio Adonáis in 1992 for his work Aquelarre, he was one of the founders of Sensismo, a movement that sought a more realistic poetry closer to the street. Throughout his career, he has published more than twenty poetry collections and has collaborated with artists such as Pep Carrió, in addition to translating authors such as Robert L. Stevenson and Leonard Cohen. He is also the creator of the Aula de las Metáforas, a poetic library located in the Casa de Cultura de Grau.
