The Flowers of Good by Jorge Nava

Las flores del bien is an exhibition project that revisits the still life genre and the representation of flowers in contemporary painting from a personal and poetic perspective. The artist Jorge Nava uses large-format oil paint with an expressionist technique that oscillates between figuration and abstraction, dispensing with preliminary sketches to achieve a vitalist and experimental work.

The project establishes a dialogue with the history of painting and the Asturian landscape, symbolizing the joy of living, desire, and the ephemeral nature of existence. The exhibition can be visited at the Centro Polivalente de Lugones from October 5 to October 23, 2026.
