Size 38... or off with the shackles of the fañagüetes

This comic monologue in Asturian, created and performed by the storyteller and actor Carlos Alba “Cellero”, uses humor and social criticism to explore the feminist and pensioner movements that emerged after the strike of March 8, 2018. The plot follows the rebellion of the women of a village, who decide to raise their voices guided by the granddaughter of Manolín.

The performance will take place in Ribadesella on July 22, 2026.
