This theatrical work, with a libretto by Bertolt Brecht and music by Kurt Weill, is a fierce critique of capitalism and the abuse of power. The production, directed by Mario Vega and starring Coque Malla, presents an updated revision of the musical parody The Beggar’s Opera by John Gay, portraying the economic system as a machine of organized crime.
