The Forgotten Island

Jo and Raissa, best friends since elementary school, have just graduated from high school and must now go their separate ways. On their last night together, Jo and Raissa discover a mysterious portal that transports them to the fantastic island of Nakali, populated by numerous magical and mythological creatures that appeared in the stories their Filipino families told them. Some of these beings will become friends and others, enemies. With the unfortunate—though well-intentioned—dog-man Raww and a small but strong group of friends, Jo and Raissa will fight against the feared Manananggal, the most terrifying creature on the island. When they discover that the memory of their friendship is the price that will allow them to return home, Jo and Raissa will embark on a wild race to leave the island before they forget each other forever.
