The Asturian company San Félix de Valdesoto presents “La Fonda,” a comedy directed by Pepín García and Nacho Fernández that tells the story of two women returning to their hometown to honor their mother’s memory. The plot thickens when the economic control exerted by the church over “la fonda” is disrupted by the arrival of a new doctor and a young man in search of his past, triggering a series of entanglements under the motto: “¡Nesta fonda ná ye lo que paez!”.
This performance is part of the XIV Festival Nacional de Teatro Amateur “Ciudad de Oviedo” Memorial José Antonio Lobato, organized by the Ayuntamiento de Oviedo.
