Celebrate Spring in Lena 🌸
La Flor de Lena is a traditional festival that marks the beginning of the spring festive cycle in Asturias. During these days, Pola de Lena is filled with music, traditional markets, and an unparalleled festive atmosphere.
Program highlights:
- Culture: Presentation of the LXIII Premiu Internacional Cuentos Lena at the Teatro Vital Aza.
- Tradition: Traditional market, distribution of the bollu, brotherhood mass, and the traditional procession with the puya’l ramu.
- Music and Party: Nighttime open-air dances with orchestras such as Fania Blanco Show, Trío Fusión, Tébol, and D’Cano, as well as street music.
- Sport: X Torneo Infantil de Judo La Flor and the charity race ‘La vueltina de Dani’.
The event culminates on Monday with the pilgrimage at the meadow of the ermita de la Flor, an essential date for lovers of Asturian traditions.
