LA CUBANA - La cuisine de ma cousine

The company La Cubana returns to the stage with La cuisine de ma cousine, a comedy that explores the current obsession with gastronomy and the need to share every culinary experience. The Teatro Jovellanos will host this production that combines humor, music, and audience participation under the direction of Jordi Milán.

This culinary “melodrama” uses the company’s classic ingredients to turn the theater into the epicenter of world gastronomy. The show is performed entirely in Spanish.

The production features a large artistic and technical team:

• Cast: Toni Torres, Àlex Gonzàlez, Montse Amat, Toni Sans, Rubèn Montañá, Ariadna Clapés, Àlex Rodríguez, Lourdes Doménech, Aina Quiñones, David Bonilla, Toni Rosal, Joan Preseguer and Edu Lacueva.
• Direction and script: Original idea and direction by Jordi Milán, with a script by Jordi Milán, Toni Sans and Rubèn Montañá.
• Technical team: Original music by Albert Mora, set design by Cesc Colomina, costumes by Cristina López and choreography by Toni Sans and Edu Lacueva.

The lighting design is by Antonio Salas, while the technical direction is the responsibility of Miquel Arnau. The rest of the team includes specialists in characterization, production, and communication who make this tour throughout Spain possible.
