Play Description

The Barraca, a work by Vicente Blasco Ibáñez, is a drama that tells the story of the Borrull family, who are forced to settle in a barraca in the Valencian orchard. The conflict grows in intensity until it becomes a tragedy.

The play addresses current issues such as the unjustified increase in rents, evictions, child harassment, and the confrontation between natives and immigrants.
