L’Amuravela. Cudillero

Cudillero hosts one of the most singular festivals in Asturias, with a marked maritime character. It begins with a proclamation, in verse and in the pixueto dialect, which a man narrates, standing on a shipwrecked boat in the port. There, the local patron, San Pedro, is told about what happened since the previous year’s festival, in a close and familiar way, finally asking him to intervene on behalf of the fishermen and provide them with good fishing.

A different festival, with touches of humor and sarcasm, that leaves no one indifferent.
