KBUÑS 2026: 44th International Youth Meetings of Cabueñes

The International Youth Meetings of Cabueñes are a forum for meeting and debate for young people, associations, technical staff, and those responsible for youth policies. Since 1983, Gijón has hosted this space for reflection on topics of interest to youth, establishing itself as a benchmark in citizen participation.

The 44th edition, under the theme “Youth with rights”, will address crucial topics such as the right to democratic participation, access to housing, culture, and social rights in a context of crisis and global change. The event is aimed at young people aged 16 to 30 and professionals in the youth sector.

Programa

The event is structured around three main axes:

• Youth Laboratories: Spaces for debate on democracy, housing, and culture.
• Interactive Workshops: Practical activities for young people with an associative background.
• Youth Professionals Forum: Specialized sessions for technicians and those responsible for the sector.

Información práctica

The activities will take place in the center of Gijón, specifically at the Escuela de Comercio and the Centro de Cultura Antiguo Instituto. Registration will be available starting June 15, 2026, through the official platform of the Ayuntamiento de Gijón.
