La Pola Siero hosts the fourth edition of Trail Siero, a mountain running race that crosses a large part of the rural area of the council and combines paths, tracks, and trails around Careses, Ordiales, Peña Careses, La Rimada, and the La Loma recreational area.
The event features different modalities adapted to various levels: the 25-kilometer Trail Siero, which can be run individually or in relays; the 11.5-kilometer Short Trail, and an 8.5-kilometer non-competitive walk for hikers. The long route reaches Cerro Gavio or Cimero, the highest point in the council of Siero, before returning towards La Pola Siero.
