The Folixa L’Espantayu is an open and inclusive party, designed as a safe space to share, enjoy, and let your imagination run wild in L’Infiestu. Throughout the day, attendees will be able to enjoy a varied program that includes live music, circus performances, and creative workshops for all ages.

The event stands out for its festive and participatory atmosphere, with one of its most anticipated moments being the Great Scarecrow Contest (Gran Concurso de Espantayus). All residents are encouraged to create their own figures, whether traditional, humorous, or protest-themed, so that the public can vote for their favorite.

Practical information

Admission is free, and the festival is funded through a reverse box office model, where the proceeds go toward supporting the artists and covering organizational costs. In addition, a charity raffle will be held with products donated by local businesses in Piloña.
