HERITAGE ITINERARIES. Romanesque and terror: demons and chimeras of stone

Get ready for a fascinating adventure through Asturian heritage! The Universidad Popular invites us to discover the best-kept secrets of our art on a unique tour where history and mystery go hand in hand. 🏛️

In this latest installment, titled Romanesque and terror: demons and chimeras of stone, we will explore the churches of Santa María de Lugás and San Salvador de Fuentes. Led by guide Aurora Valdés Caso, we will analyze how Romanesque sculpture used infernal creatures and chimeras to convey moral lessons, challenging the laws of nature on every wall.

To enjoy this experience, remember to wear comfortable footwear, sunscreen, and a hat. Here are the key details:

• Time: from 10:00 to 14:00 (it is recommended to be at the stop 15 minutes early).
• Meeting point: Gota de Leche bus stop (c/ Palacio Valdés, 2).
• Price: 12 € (registration) + 4 € (admission, to be paid in cash with the exact amount at the start of the activity).
• Spots: 20 per itinerary.
