Heritage Itineraries. Autumn 2026. A walk through Villamayor

We will discover the mysteries of the Benedictine monastery, the history of its conversion into a parish church, and the rich Indian heritage guided by historian José Antonio Longo Marina and with photographs by Modesto Montoto. 🏛️

📅 Registration and enrollment

• Enrollment: from October 27 to 30 starting at 8:30 at https://actividades.gijon.es and on the Gijón App. In-person registration is also available at citizen service offices (you can request an appointment at https://www.gijon.es/tramites/cita-previa or by calling 985 181 105).
• Spots: 20 spots per itinerary (maximum 3 registrations per person).
• Payment: Payment by bank card within a maximum period of 6 hours from the registration time (for in-person registrations, payment is made with a receipt on the same day).

The registration rules for this call are the same as those governing the UP course offering for October 2026 published in the brochure. In addition, refunds for the enrollment fee are allowed up to 7 days before the start of each activity.

🕒 Schedules and details

The schedule for the itineraries is from 10:00 to 14:00 h. (it is recommended to arrive 15 minutes early at the bus stop). The starting point will be the Gota de Leche bus stop (C/Palacio Valdés,2).
