The third edition of the AvilÉsMúsica International Chamber Music Festival brings together prominent international performers in Avilés to offer six concerts dedicated to great composers of the classical repertoire. The series covers works by authors such as Mozart, Brahms, Beethoven, Ravel, Shostakovich, Smetana, Mendelssohn, and Dohnányi.
Program and venues
The festival takes place in two iconic spaces in the city: the Palacio de Camposagrado and the Auditorio de la Casa de Cultura. The program includes:
- August 31 (20:00): Opening concert at the Palacio de Camposagrado.
- September 1 and 2: Concerts at the Palacio de Camposagrado.
- September 3 (19:00): The Virtuoso Gala at the Auditorio de la Casa de Cultura.
- September 4 (19:00): Concert at the Auditorio de la Casa de Cultura.
- September 5 (19:00): Closing concert at the Auditorio de la Casa de Cultura.
In addition, the artists will offer free masterclasses at the Conservatorio Municipal Profesional Julián Orbón, aimed at young musicians.

Season ticket sales begin on July 10 and individual ticket sales on July 20 through the festival’s official website.
