The II Cabo San Agustín Swimming Crossing is an exciting day of sports and festivities that will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in the municipality of Coaña. This event combines personal achievement in the water with a great community celebration open to all attendees. 🌊
Event Program
- 18:00: Adult crossing (1,500 meters).
- 19:00: Children’s crossing (600 meters).
- 19:30: Storytelling and traditional games with Late Asturias.
- 19:30: Sardine distribution.
- 20:30: Awards ceremony.
- 22:30: Live music with Mendezcatos and Untopic.
Additional Information
The day before, July 17 at 19:00, a lecture by Nacho Dean will be offered along with the screening of a documentary about his experience swimming across the five continents.
Participation in the sardine feast is free for swimmers; for the rest of the public, vouchers are priced at 12 euros (includes a serving of sardines, bread, and dessert) and can be purchased at Panadería Ortiguera, Bar El Faro, Espacio San Agustín, or through the Asociación Chumbiapericos al Cabo San Agustín. 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Late Asturias.
