The II Castreño Conference delves into the material culture of the hillforts and presents the most recent archaeological findings from the sites in the northwest of the peninsula. This meeting includes the opening of the exhibition Cosiquines de La Campa Torres, where the outstanding findings of the Campa Project are displayed.
The program combines scientific rigor with activities open to the public to bring local archaeological heritage closer to all attendees. During the conference, you will be able to enjoy the following proposals:
- Educational workshops on archaeology.
- Musical performances by folk groups. 🎶
This initiative reinforces the commitment of the Museos Arqueológicos de Gijón/Xixón to the research and dissemination of the studies carried out at La Campa Torres. It is an ideal opportunity to learn about fieldwork and the history of the castreño settlements up close.
