Avellano Festival. Allande

The Avellano Festival in Pola de Allande offers six days packed with music, tradition, and activities for all audiences. The program includes everything from the Beer Festival and the 11th Interpeñas Festival to vermouth sessions, concerts, open-air dances, and children’s events.

Featured Program

• Big Day (September 8): Includes the procession of the Virgen del Avellano, the solemn mass, the traditional Descarga del Avellano, and an open-air dance with the orchestras Salsarena and Capitol.
• Activities: The event features parades of social clubs (peñas), soccer matches, the official opening speech, the presentation of queens and kings, and the closing with the traditional Toro de Fuego and garlic soup on the last day.
• Music: Performances by groups such as Assia, Salsarena, Capitol, Ideas, Héctor y José, in addition to the participation of the Banda de Gaitas La Madreña.
