Versalles Festivities

The Versalles Festivities in Avilés mark the end of summer with a diverse program that combines tradition, music, and activities for all ages. The event takes place in the Versalles neighborhood and features offerings ranging from open-air dances and gastronomic contests to days dedicated to seniors and children.

Featured Program

• Friday, September 4: Official opening, dance exhibitions with Urban Dance Factory, pétanque and bowling tournaments at the Complejo Deportivo Los Canapés, and an open-air dance with the Orquesta Cuarta Calle and Daniel Vieites.
• Saturday, September 5: Street circus, “Seniors’ Afternoon” with traditional games and music, and the gastronomic contests for tortillas and desserts (with orange as a mandatory ingredient). The night will be enlivened by the Orquesta Nuevo Tango.
• Sunday, September 6: Traditional popular meal in the street (requires prior registration through the neighborhood association).
• Tuesday, September 8 (Asturias Day): Closing day with children’s activities, a family scavenger hunt, and the end-of-party celebration with the mobile disco El Show de Susana.
