The Santa María 2026 Festivities in Oneta are celebrated on September 9 with a day full of tradition and music in the council of Villayón. The celebration begins at 13:00 with a solemn mass and procession in honor of Santa María, accompanied by the Grupo de Gaitas La Reina del Truébano, followed by a vermouth session with the group Límite.
Program
- 13:00: Solemn mass and procession with the Grupo de Gaitas La Reina del Truébano, followed by a vermouth session with the group Límite.
- 17:30: Party with Josín Acordeonista.
- 19:00: Traditional horse ribbon race.
- 21:30: Distribution of the bollo (chorizo with bacon, empanada, and dessert).
- Verbena: Great party with the groups D’Cano and Límite.
The distribution of the bollo costs 7 euros. Vouchers must be purchased before Monday, September 7, at Bar Restaurante Casa Nito, Carnicería Elías (Navia), or through members of the committee. The event will feature a tent installed in the festival field.
