The San Salvador 2026 Festivities in Loza offer a complete program of traditional, sports, and musical activities to celebrate this holiday in the council of Coaña. During the days of August 2, 5, 6, and 7, attendees will be able to enjoy events ranging from sports competitions and solemn masses to open-air dances with prominent orchestras.
Featured Program
- Sunday, August 2: Sports day with a veterans’ quadrangular tournament, bowling match, and children’s triangular soccer tournament, in addition to children’s activities such as inflatables and a foam party.
- Wednesday, August 5: Distribution of the “bollo” and “rapón,” opening speech by Nieves (Obradores Nieves Barquera), and music by Jaime Paredes.
- Thursday, August 6: Solemn mass, procession, and a grand evening open-air dance with the Saudade orchestra and Banda Gaudí.
- Friday, August 7: Mass for the deceased, lunch under the tent, horse ribbon race, and closing with an open-air dance featuring the groups Tekila and Assia.
