L’Edrau Festivals. SMRA

The L’Edrau Festivals in San Martín del Rey Aurelio offer three days full of tradition, gastronomy, and folklore. The program stands out for its variety of activities, which include everything from painting contests and traditional game championships to pilgrimages, open-air dances, and cultural events such as the XXXIV Folk Festival.

Featured activities

• Gastronomy: Great Barbecue and Corderu a la Estaca (Saturday) and free giant paella (Sunday).
• Tradition: Bagpipe Mass, Puya al Ramu, and procession with bagpipe music.
• Music and dance: Daily pilgrimages and open-air dances with groups such as Aroa Peña, D’Cano, Grupo Aroa, and Grupo Paréntesis, accompanied by Astur Dj.
• Children: Traditional games and activities for the little ones on Monday.

• Transport: On Sunday, a free bus is available from El Entrego (departures at 11:00 and 11:30 in front of the La Laguna bar, return at 22:00).
• Services: There will be a marquee, bar service with snacks, and parking enabled in a nearby meadow.
