Grandas de Salime Festivals 2026

The Grandas de Salime Festivals 2026 offer a complete program of cultural, musical, and traditional activities that will take place over four days in the council. The celebration includes everything from parades and open-air dances to religious acts and children’s events.

Featured Program

• Friday, July 31: Parade with Os Charangos, opening speech by Mercedes Cruzado Álvarez, costume contest, and open-air dance with the Platinum orchestra and DJ Casanova.
• Saturday, August 1: Giants and big-heads, presentation of the book “De aquellas mujeres, nosotros”, children’s activities, and open-air dance with Grupo Beatriz and Los Coleguitas.
• Sunday, August 2: Solemn mass and procession in honor of El Salvador, vermouth session with the Alianza orchestra, children’s games, and open-air dance with the Alianza orchestra and Discomóvil Conxuro.
• Monday, August 3: Country picnic at the Carballeira del Rey (A Farrapa) with the New Paentamala brass band and final open-air dance with the Estrellas duo.
