Cimadevilla Festivities 2026

The Fiestas de Cimadevilla transform the iconic upper neighborhood of Gijón with a program full of tradition and a festive atmosphere. During these days, the neighborhood becomes the epicenter of cultural and social activity, with the traditional opening speech at the Casa del Chino as the starting point.

The program includes a varied range of activities for all audiences, highlighting:

• Street parades and big-head figures that travel through the neighborhood streets.
• Concerts and live music in iconic squares such as the Cuesta del Cholo, the Plaza de Jovellanos, and the Plaza de la Colegiata.
• Orchestras that liven up the nights in the tent set up at the Cerro de Santa Catalina.
