The Fiesta del Pez de Tereñes is one of the most unique popular celebrations in the council of Ribadesella. It is held every year in the month of August and combines a day of traditional fishing with a festive atmosphere of camaraderie between neighbors and visitors.
The main event is a great fishing session that takes place on the rocky shore of Tereñes, from dawn until noon. The activity, enlivened by bagpipers, is open to participants who have the corresponding fishing license. At the end of the day, participation is rewarded and the gathering continues with a dinner for the participants and their companions at the bar El Prau.
