Stuffed Pepper Festival. San Martín del Rey Aurelio

The town of Blimea celebrates the Stuffed Pepper Festival, a gastronomic event of great tradition with over forty years of history, the only one dedicated to peppers in Asturias.

This festivity is declared of Tourist Interest of the Principality of Asturias and connects with the traditional culture of the mining basin, uniting culinary art with the celebration of friendship around the table. During these days, local hospitality venues serve a menu consisting of peppers stuffed with meat or tuna, accompanied by tripe and frisuelos, and washed down with cider or wine.
