The Asturian Independent Festival on Cultural Community (FIASCO) celebrates its tenth anniversary in Mieres, consolidating itself as a cultural event that brings together different artistic disciplines, critical thinking, and contemporary creation proposals.
FIASCO is characterized by its heterogeneous programming, open to all audiences and closely linked to the territory, yet with a universal vocation. Each edition revolves around a slogan that invites reflection and encounter through culture.
Throughout its history, the festival has brought together in Mieres prominent personalities from the world of literature, music, cinema, journalism, art, and thought, such as Rodrigo Cuevas, Rozalén, Rosa María Calaf, Oliver Laxe, Nieves Concostrina, Ángeles Caso, and Bob Pop, among many others.
In 2026, FIASCO commemorates a decade of activity with a special edition that will bring together comedians, writers, artists, musicians, filmmakers, illustrators, journalists, and activists. A multidisciplinary program that seeks to entertain, move, and foster the exchange of ideas, reclaiming culture as a space for encounter and collective participation.
