Fe is a fascinating exhibition by the artist Tania Blanco that explores materials from the periphery of the metallurgical industry in Asturias. Through a new series of works, the artist investigates the iron and rust present in key industrial areas such as El Musel in Gijón and the ría de Avilés, transforming these waste products into artistic elements that engage in a dialogue with the natural landscape.
The exhibition invites reflection on the Anthropocene and the blurred line between the natural and the industrial, using rust as a dye that stains the environment red. It is a unique opportunity to observe how industry drastically modifies the Asturian landscape from an artistic and critical perspective.
