About the exhibition

The artist Maribel Gijón presents a series of portraits captured in different parts of the world, which have been intervened through creative processes that transform the original image. The intention is not to represent people as they are, but to turn them into sensations or presences.

Each work functions as a symbolic territory where the face is transformed into a bridge between the visible and the invisible, inviting you to explore the thin line between identity and personal interpretation.
