The exhibition Lorca en Asturias reconstructs the mark that Federico García Lorca left on the region through his travels, his close relationship with the workers’ athenaeums, and his time with La Barraca. The author Boni Ortiz presents a selection of photographs, documents, and testimonies that highlight the poet’s commitment to culture, theater, and education.
This exhibition arrives at a very special moment, coinciding with the 90th anniversary of his assassination (1936-2026). It is an opportunity to get closer to the profound echo that the legacy of one of the most important figures in our literature has maintained in Asturias to this day. 🎭
