EscenAvilés: ‘Jekyll & Hyde, the Musical’.

Based on the famous novel by Robert Louis Stevenson, this show combines psychological drama, suspense, and a powerful score that has triumphed on Broadway and the West End. The production by Theatre Properties stands out for its spectacular set design that recreates the Victorian London of the 19th century in great detail, supported by state-of-the-art lighting and sound technology.

The plot follows Dr. Henry Jekyll, a brilliant scientist who attempts to prove the existence of two opposing natures in human beings: good and evil. After being rejected by the scientific community, he experiments on himself, giving rise to Edward Hyde, a violent and conscienceless personality who begins to commit crimes in the city. Trapped between guilt and obsession, Jekyll must face the devastating truth that evil is an inseparable part of his own nature.
