About the play

The plot follows Lieutenant Astete, known as don Friolera, who receives an anonymous letter that turns his world upside down by warning him about an alleged infidelity by his wife, doña Loreta. From there, the story becomes complicated with:

• The excessive jealousy of don Friolera.
• The frivolity of doña Loreta, tempted by the barber Pachequín.
• The influence of a malicious neighborhood that instigates the protagonist to take revenge.
